Adelaide: Adelaide United picked up their first point of the 2017 AFC Champions League on Wednesday as Guillermo Amor’s side held Jeju United to a 3-3 draw in a thrilling see-saw encounter at Hindmarsh Stadium.

The 2008 finalists took the lead through Papa Babacar Diawara’s 51st minute penalty only for Jeju United substitute Frederic Mendy to level 10 minutes later with a shot on the turn that went in off the inside of Eugene Galekovic’s left post.

Jeju then claimed the lead with a strike from Marcelo Toscano that flew into the top corner with 19 minutes remaining, but Sergio Cirio’s header two minutes later pulled Adelaide level.

Kwon Soon-hyung then put Jeju back in front with six minutes on the clock, only for Adelaide to equalise once more just a minute later thanks to Mark Ochieng’s strike as the teams shared the points.
