Teerasil struck eight minutes before half-time to claim his first-ever goal in the AFC Champions League when he netted from close range as Totchtawan Sripan’s side moved ahead of Kashima Antlers.

Muangthong have eight points from their four matches and lead the Japanese champions by two points, with Ulsan Hyundai and Brisbane Roar a further two points adrift with two games remaining.
