Suwon: Ko Seung-beom and Johnathan claimed a brace apiece as Suwon Samsung Bluewings moved into sole possession of top spot in Group G of the 2017 AFC Champions League on Wednesday with a 5-0 demolition of Eastern SC from Hong Kong.

Yeom Ki-hun gave Suwon the lead after 37 minutes of frustration before a second-half onslaught saw the club from Korea Republic notch up a win that takes them two points clear of two-time champions Guangzhou Evergrande with two games remaining.

Ko scored his first with a low strike from the edge of the area in the 63rd minute before goals in the 74th and 76th minutes for substitute Johnathan put the result beyond doubt. Ko then claimed his second with 11 minutes remaining as Eastern were left stranded at the bottom of the group.
