Osaka: Jeju United earned their first AFC Champions League win since 2011 after putting in a dominant display away at Gamba Osaka with Lee Chang-min netting a brace in a 4-1 thrashing at Suita City Football Stadium on Wednesday.

Dictating the game’s tempo throughout, the Korean side scored goals in quick succession in the final minutes before half-time as an unfortunate own-goal by Yasuhito Endo was briskly followed up by Lee steering home his first of the night.

And just six minutes into the second period Marcelo Toscano extended the lead for the away side to three goals before Lee completed his brace with the pick of the bunch as he lobbed a stranded Masaaki Higashiguchi from fully 40-yards out with 18 minutes remaining.

Ademilson did net a consolation from the penalty spot for the Japanese hosts in the final minutes but it was a night to forget for the home side and one to savour for the visitors.
