Round of 16 race for Groups D, E and F explained
Abu Dhabi: With six points each, top two teams in Groups D, E and F have already confirmed their qualification for the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 Knockout stage, but all teams remain in contention with one set of matches remaining.
The AFC presents the possible qualification scenarios based on results in forthcoming Matchday Three fixtures.
Already-qualified Iraq and Islamic Republic of Iran, both on six points, will play for the chance to be group winners, while Vietnam or Yemen could still reach the Round of 16 as one the four highest-ranked third-placed teams
