Kuala Lumpur: Nepal proved they are the best, beating India 2-0 on Wednesday to win the SAFF U-18 Championship.
Nepal's win at Bhutan's Changlimithang Stadium saw them pip Bangladesh to the title on head to head advantage.
India finished third with hosts Bhutan, who lost to 2-0 to Bangladesh in their final match, finishing fourth and Maldives fifth.
“I am happy and very thrilled” said Nepal head coach Chiring Lopsang.
"The hard work and team spirit of the boys paid off and we are the champions."
