ACL2018 MD2 Toyota Player of the Week: Oscar
Kuala Lumpur: Shanghai SIPG's Oscar has been named the Toyota Player of the Week for Matchday Two of the 2018 AFC Champions League.
Brazilian star Oscar shone in Shanghai SIPG's 4-1 win over Melbourne Victory in their Group F Matchday Two tie at Shanghai Stadium on Tuesday.
The former Chelsea midfielder netted a pair of spectacular strikes, one of which - a spectacular curled effort - saw him nominated for the Allianz Goal of the Week.

Not only was Oscar on target twice, with his goals coming from three shots, but he also created an impressive six chances for his teammates, won four duels and tallied a passing accuracy of 82% for a 9.1 rating to top the Toyota standings for this week.
Mu Kanazaki (pictured below) also stood out in Matchday Two with the Kashima Antlers forward, like Oscar, scoring twice as the J.Leaue side defeated Suwon Samsung Bluewings 2-1 in Korea Republic.
The 29-year-old boasted a 100% shooting accuracy in Suwon with his four shots on goal all on target. Kanazaki also won two duels and created one chance to earn an 8.9 rating.
Shanghai Shenhua's Fredy Guarin (below) rounds off this week's top three, scoring in the Chinese Super League side's 2-2 draw with Australia's Sydney FC.
The Colombian midfielder completed 44 passes successfully with a fine passing accuracy of 89%, as well as winning five duels and creating three chances for his teammates to earn his 8.7 rating.
Last week Karim Boudiaf was in fourth place in the Toyota rankings at it is another Al Duhail player who earns that position for Matchday Two in the shape of forward Youssef El Arabi.
The Moroccan targetman scored twice as the Qatari club defeated Al Wahda 3-2 in Abu Dhabi to maintain their 100% record so far in this year's edition of the tournament, with the 31-year-old awarded an 8.7 rating.
Completing the top five is Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors defender Kim Jin-su with an 8.6 rating after scoring and getting an assist in the Korean champions 6-0 thrashing of Kitchee SC at Hong Kong Stadium.
Lee Yeong-jae, who scored in Ulsan's 2-1 win over Kawasaki Frontale, is next with an 8.3 rating, a score shared by Al Gharafa goalkeeper Yousef Hassan and Al Sadd's two-goal hero Baghdad Bounedjah.
