ACL2018 MD6 Toyota Player of the Week: Alan
Kuala Lumpur: A brace in Guangzhou Evergrande's 3-2 victory over Cerezo Osaka in Group G of the 2018 AFC Champions League on Tuesday earned Alan the Toyota Player of the Week accolade.
A superb performance from Guangzhou Evergrande striker Alan in the two-time AFC Champions League winners' 3-1 win over Japan's Cerezo Osaka in their concluding tie of the 2018 Group Stage saw the Brazilian pick up the week's top player plaudit.
The former Red Bull Salzburg forward netted his double in the second half, after Huang Bowen and Takaki Fukumitsu had scored for either side in the opening 10 minutes of the tie at Tianhe Stadium in Southern China.

Alan's two goals came from a total tally of five shots on goal, three of which were on target. He also won four fouls, made 19 passes and registered one chance created to claim an 8.9 rating to top the Toyota standings for this week.
Marcus Berg (pictured below) also shone on Matchday Six with the Al Ain forward on target in the Emirati side's convincing 4-1 win against Qatar's Al Rayyan.
The 31-year-old's brace came from two shots on target, three in total, but it was his all-round game that impressed. As well as his clinical finishing, Berg also tallied an 84 percent passing accuracy and won six duels to earn an 8.8 rating in what was a solid night's work for the Sweden international.
Lokomotiv's Islom Tukhtakhujaev (below) is next in the rankings after the defender's late equaliser saw the Uzbek club sign off their 2018 campaign with a draw against IR Iran's Zobahan in Tashkent.
The centre-back was heavily involved in his side's play registering 118 touches and making 107 passes, in addition to his goal, for his 8.0 score.
A second Al Ain player appears in the Toyota rankings this week as Al Ain's Omar Abdulrahman enters the list at number four following his goal in the victory over Al Rayyan
Abdulrahman's goal, which was nominated for the Allianz Goal of the Week, came from one shot on goal and the midfield playmaker also made 78 touches and won six fouls and for his 8.0 rating.
Completing the top five is Shanghai Shenhua goalkeeper Qiu Shengjiong who registered a 7.9 after his fine performance and cleansheet in the goalless draw with Sydney FC in Australia.
Al Ahli's Moamen Zakaria is next with an 7.7 after an impressive display in the 2-1 victory over Al Jazira, followed by Zhao Xuri of Tianiin Quanjian and Buriram United defender Yoo Jun-su who both scored 7.7 ratings.
