Rounding out the top three is another player who scored a double on Matchday Two. Daegu FC's Edgar (below) followed up his strike against Melbourne Victory on Matchday One with a brace against two-time winners Guangzhou Evergrande in the Korean side's stunning 3-1 win.
Edgar's two goals came from his four shots on goal while the former Buriram United forward also registered 39 passes.
Al Zawraa's Ahmed Jalal enters the list at number four with a 9.2 rating. No player made more key passes than Jalal (4) and he was one of only two players to create three big chances on Matchday Two.
Japan icon Keisuke Honda is next with a 9.1 after an impressive performance for Melbourne Victory in his homecoming tie at Sanfrecce Hiroshima, followed by Shoya Nakajima of Al Duhail and Al Sadd forward Baghdad Bounedjah who both tallied 9.0 ratings.
