The time has come to say goodbye. Sometimes difficult decisions must be taken and even though it has not been long you have made me feel at home from the first day. I would like to thank everyone who made possible me to play in @ceresnegrosfc , my gratitude to the coach, to the boss, to all my teammates, to the staff and of course, to the supporters for all their signs of affection all along. Love and hugs, Álvaro Silva, ETERNALLY GRATEFUL. #maramingsalamat 💛🖤
The Philippines international joined Ceres earlier this year after appearing for Kedah FA in the 2018 Malaysia Super League.
Silva also played for the Philippines in the 2018 AFF Cup and the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019. Thailand is said to be his next destination.
