Defending champions Saudi Arabia lead the cast, with former winners Korea Republic (2020), Uzbekistan (2018), Japan (2016) and Iraq (2013) also looking to become the first team to lift the coveted trophy for a second time.

Doha: Battle lines will be drawn for the AFC U23 Asian Cup Qatar 2024™ when the official Final Draw ceremony takes place this Thursday at 12pm local time at the Al Bustan Ballroom of the Wyndham Doha West Bay in Doha, Qatar.

The top 16 U23 teams in Asia will vie for supremacy at the sixth edition of the competition, set to be played between April 15 to May 3, 2024 in Qatar.

Kuwait City: Former champions Iraq showed great determination as they came from two behind to force a 2-2 draw with Kuwait in the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Qatar 2024 Qualifiers on Tuesday.

The fightback meant Iraq topped Group F ahead of Kuwait on goal difference, with both teams finishing on seven points. 
 
Earlier Timor-Leste produced a five-star performance to end their campaign with three points.

Braces from Ahmed Alghamdi and Abdullah Radif maintained defending champions Saudi Arabia's proud record of reaching every AFC U23 Asian Cup since 2013.
 
In an earlier match, Lebanon's hopes of advancing were dashed after they could only draw 1-1 with Mongolia.

Tashkent: Uzbekistan struck in the second half strike to defeat Islamic Republic of Iran 1-0 in their final AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Qatar 2024 Qualifiers Group E fixture at the Lokomotiv Stadium on Tuesday.

The win confirmed Uzbekistan, the 2018 champions, their ticket to next April's Finals.
