AFC U-16 Women’s Championship 2017 winners DPR Korea will be joined at the global finals by Korea Republic and Japan, who finished second and third respectively in Thailand last September to qualify. All three nations have previously been champions of the competition, with Asian sides lifting the trophy in four of the five editions since the inaugural staging in 2008.
