Morocco, United 26 present respective bids to AFC Member Associations
Moscow: Morocco and United 26, the two bidders for the FIFA World Cup 2026, made a presentation to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Member Associations at a Confederation gathering in Moscow today.
United 26 is a joint bid by the United States, Mexico and Canada to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The FIFA Congress will decide on Wednesday on the hosts for the 2026 World Cup.
The gathering also heard from the AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa and FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
The event was also attended by the FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura as well as the AFC Executive Committee.
