KUALA LUMPUR – The AFC has informed the Pakistan FA that the Army will be taking part in the 2008 AFC President’s Cup and not any other team of their choosing.

The Rawalpindi-based side won the 2006/07 Pakistan Premier League title while the current champions, WAPDA (Water and Power Development Authority) sealed their title on January 30, too late to be included in the 2008 President’s Cup.
