| ‘Win in India with India’ meeting held |
ZURICH: A high-powered meeting was held at FIFA House on Monday to agree on the implementation strategy for FIFA’s `Win in India with India’ project.
The meeting was chaired by FIFA President Joseph Blatter and included AFC President Mohamed Bin Hammam, AIFF President Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Sports, Government of India, Injeti Srinivas.
The project was launched during the FIFA chief’s visit to this South Asian country in April last year.
The FIFA project is expected to boost development of the game in India alongwith AFC’s Vision Asia programme which was launched in Manipur three years ago and has been expanded to the southern Indian states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala this year.
