KUALA LUMPUR: AFC House will host a two-day workshop on Vision Thailand from June 16, marking the completion of the planning phase of the project and the beginning of the implementation stage.
The discussions will centre around the identification of key implementation tasks, allocation of responsibility for these tasks, and the establishment of an appropriate time-line for implementation to achieve the mutually agreed goals.
The workshop would see Football Association of Thailand (FAT) officials offering their views after perusing AFC’s draft strategic plan for football development in the South East Asian country.
The development blueprint covers football not only at the national level but also at the provincial level with Chonburi province being selected as a pilot project for football development. The plan sets out specific goals for each key element of football development with womenʼs football likely to be integrated into the plan at an early stage.
The workshop will be attended by top FAT and Chonburi officials, led by FAT President and AFC Executive Committee member, Dato’ Worawi Makudi.
