LONG AN, Vietnam: Tan An Town increased their lead in the Long An Provincial League (LAPL) standings to three points after 19 rounds with a 3-0 victory over Thu Thua recently.
Duong Khanh Duy opened the scoring for Tan An six minutes before interval while Huynh Quoc Bao doubled the advantage in the 56th minute. Huynh Ngoc Long made it 3-0 in the 71st minute.
Defending champions and second-placed Can Duoc continued their chase with a 2-0 victory over Duc Hoa while third-placed Moc Hoa lost to Ben Luc 5-2.
Tan An are on 41 points, three more than Can Duoc while Moc Hoa are further two points adrift.
In other matches, Tan Tru lost to Duc Hue 2-1, Can Giuoc beat Tan Thanh 5-1, Chau Thanh beat Tan Hung 2-0 and Vinh Hung defeated Thanh Hoa 4-0.
