KUALA LUMPUR: A high-level delegation from India will visit the AFC House on July 10 to revive Project Delhi in AFC’s Vision India programme.
The seven-member delegation includes Union Minister of State for Urban Development, Ajay Makan, Minister of Education in Delhi Government, Arvind Singh Lovely, Minister of Transport in Delhi Government, Haroon Yusuf, Delhi Soccer Association President Subhash Chopra, General Secretary N K Bhatia, Treasurer Syed Shaheen and Additional Commissioner in Delhi Municipal Corporation, Naresh Kumar.
The objective of the workshop is to restart the project in the Indian capital and to agree and finalise the roadmap for implementation of the development plan.
The issues to be discussed in the workshop include statutes of the Delhi Soccer Association, administration, grassroots and youth programme, schools league, coaching and refereering development.
The two parties are expected to reach an agreement on the timeline for implementation of the revised strategic development plan during the workshop.
