SEOUL: Korea Republic will warm-up for their third 2010 FIFA World Cup Group B qualifying match, against Saudi Arabia, by taking on 2011 AFC Asian Cup hosts Qatar in Doha.
The November 14 meeting in the Qatari capital will also be used by Jorge Fossati’s side to test their mettle against East Asian opposition with Japan heading to the Middle East to take on the two-time Gulf Cup winners in their Group A fixture five days later.
The Koreans and Qatar have not met since 1989 when they played out a goalless World Cup qualifying draw in Singapore.
