TASHKENT – Uzbekistan will prepare for their 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying round four opener against Qatar with a friendly against DPR Korea on August 29.
Rauf Inileev’s side were scheduled to acclimatise for the September 6 Group A clash with the 2011 AFC Asian Cup hosts with a friendly against the UAE in the Emirates but a cancellation of that fixture prompted the current AFC Coach of the Year to change his plans.
The North Koreans have scheduled a week-long training camp in the Uzbekistan capital as they ready themselves for the opening match of their South Africa 2010 Group B qualifying campaign, which is against the UAE on the same day the Uzbeks play Qatar.
