IMPHAL: Don Bosco, Churachandpur, and Oxford English School, Phayeng, have won the boys and girls titles respectively in the Manipur Inter-District Schools Football Competition recently.
The championship for under-11 years age group was organised by the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) under AFC’s Vision India-Project Manipur at the Khuman Lampak practice ground.
Don Bosco, Churachandpur, remained undefeated in the event. In their last league match, they convincingly beat Covenant High School, Churachandpur, 4-1. Stephen High School finished runners-up with three wins out of their four matches.
In the girls' section, Oxford English School, Phayeng, won the crown with a win and a draw. Pari Imom Shindamshang, Langjing, finished runners-up.
