DOHA – Democratic Republic of Congo international striker Lomana LuaLua has joined Qatar club Al Arabi after a spell in Greece with Olympiacos.
The 27-year-old, who is famed for his acrobatic goal celebrations, was born in Kinshasa but moved to England at the age of eight and began his professional career at third division Colchester United before playing for Premiership sides Newcastle United and Portsmouth.
LuaLua his inked a one-year deal contract with the seven-time Qatar champions and is expected to hook-up with Al Arabi and their recently-appointed head coach Ze Mario at the team’s pre-season training camp in Turkey.
