ZIBO: Zibo Sunday Football Club thrashed Zibo Classic Football Club 9-2 to increase their lead to eight points after 11 rounds in the Zibo City League, which was launched under AFC’s Vision China programme, recently.
Zibo Sunday Football Club are on 31 points with 10 victories and a draw while second-placed Zibo Old Boys Football Club are on 23 points but have two matches in hand.
The leaders have netted a whopping 59 goals in their 11 games and conceded just 12. Zibo Red Flag Education Football Club, who downed Geleifen of Zichuan Lutai Group Football Club 2-1, are placed third with 22 points.
The tenth round match between Zibo Old Boys Football Club and Shandong University of Technology Football Club was postponed recently.
In other games, Zibo Zhengyue Football Club overcame Zibo Time Football Club 2-1, Zhoucun Tongzhou Football Club thrashed Zibo Training College Football Club 6-0 and Shandong Industrial Vocational College Football Club were held 3-3 by Shandong Coal Institute of Technology Football Club.
