Substitutes Mao Aihong and He Zuen also made their presence count with two goals each.
The half time score tilting heavily in favour of China was 14-0. The winners started scripting the rout from the fourth minute itself. "Our target is to reach the finals," said Chinese coach Suang Rui Hua. "So, this match and also the semi-finals are training matches for us."
Suang also took the opportunity to try out different tactics and shuffling the players in and out of position. "This was a good chance to try different methods and reposition the players."
Singapore coach Nathaniel Naplah was understandably disappointed. " I'm completely disappointed because the players didn't put much effort into this match. They played better in the first match."
