Action from the Hong Kong League

HONG KONG: AFC Cup team Sun Hei ran five unanswered goals past Hong Kong 08 in the Hong Kong League recently to climb to third position.

The rout was kicked off by Cristiano Cordeiro in the 33rd minute and two goals from Antonio Serrano (51, 85) put the match beyond Hong Kong 08’s grasp. Chan Ho Man and Xie Wei sealed the win with late goals.

Sun Hei are now in third position with 28 points.

In another match, defending champions Happy Valley lost to Citizen 2-1 and slipped to eighth place, just two off the bottom. Leung Chun Pong and Ju Yingzhi were on target for Citizen.
