GOA: India’s Mahindra United continued their winning run in the AFC Cup 2007, beating Hong Kong’s Happy Valley 3-1 at the Nehru Stadium here on Tuesday.

India international S. Venkatesh opened the scoring for the hosts in the first half but Gerard Ambassa Guy restored parity for Happy Valley in the 54th minute.

Andrews Mensah then scored a brace in the 73rd and 77th minutes to ensure full points for the Indian national league champions.

Mahindra are leading Group E with nine points from three matches while Singapore Armed Forces, who defeated Maldives’ New Radiant by the similar scoreline, are second with six points.
