HO CHI MINH CITY: Vietnam and Thailand drew 1-1 in the Asean Football Federation (AFF) U-20 Championship while Brunei edged Cambodia 2-1 in the other group encounter. The Thais took the lead in the 14th minute through a Wanthon header which was deflected into the net by Vietnamese defender Ngoc Anh. The visiting side beefed up their defence after the opening goal but could not prevent Hong Viet from scoring in the 37th minute.
