PHNOM PENH: Thailand won the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Under-17 Championship on Saturday after defeating Laos 3-2 in the final. The Thais stormed to a 3-0 lead by half time but were stunned by their rivals' courageous comeback. “It was great to get the three goals in the first half although I felt that the players were a little tired after the break,” said Thailand head coach Prayoung Khunan. The Thai goalscorers were Jirayut Saengpha (15), Nattachai Tosungnean (21) and Anusak Laosangthai (27). The Laotian scorers were Phettikone (67) and Kita Souksabai (86).
