BEIJING: Beijing Guoa’n drubbed Changsha Jinde 2-0 to go top of the Chinese Super League after the 25th round of action recently. Braziilan striker Thiago put Beijing into the lead on 12 minutes and Tao Wei’s injury time strike sewed up all three points for the winners who are now on 47 points. Defending champions Shandong Luneng cruised into second place behind Beijing Guoa’n after smashing bottom side Xiamen Lanshi 4-0. With four games, remaining the gap between the top-two is of just one point. Cui Peng, LI Jinyu, Aleksandr Zivkovic and Lv Cheng were on target for Shandong.
