KUALA LUMPUR: Following FIFA’s suspension of the Kuwait Football Association from all international football activities, AFC has moved to withdraw Kuwaiti match officials from AFC competitions.

Additionally, AFC has also withdrawn the nomination of all Kuwaiti match officials from the Saudi Arabia versus Qatar match in the AFC Final Round for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games on November 17, 2007.

The Kuwaiti futsal team are also suspended with immediate effect from the ongoing 2nd Asian Indoor Games in Macau.
