Kuching: An AFC Futsal Level 1 Coaching Course concluded in the Malaysian state of Sarawak last weekend.
The six-day basic futsal coaching course was organised by the Mas Gading Community College and Sarawak Football Association and attended by some 20 participants
It was the second Level 1 coaching course organised by the college aimed at providing an opportunityfor local coaches to be exposed to the fast-paced game and develop potential coaches in Sarawak.
Sarawak FA Secretary Executive Daud Aba and Coaching Director Hazry Abdullah, as well as the college’s Head of Lifelong Learning Mohd Khairudin Amdan, expressed their appreciation for the course, adding that they hoped more courses will be organised in the year 2016.
Aba also mentioned that the Sarawak FA is looking forward to more local futsal competitions to expose coaches to the game.
The course was delivered by AFC Futsal Coaching Instructor Chiew Chun Yong of Malaysia.
