Hungary’s football ambassador visits AFC House

Kuala Lumpur: Ahead of the launch of a film festival dedicated to Hungarian football in Malaysia, a delegation from the Hungarian Embassy paid a courtesy visit to the AFC House today. 

His Excellency Hungary’s Ambassador to Malaysia Attila Káli was joined by Ambassador of Hungarian Football Tradition and Affairs Concerning Ferenc Puskás György Szöllősi and Deputy Head of Mission Dr Titanilla Tóth.

The AFC General Secretary, Dato’ Windsor John, welcomed the guests and introduced them to the AFC’s role as guardians of football in Asia. The AFC Communications Department gave a full overview of its work to promote and protect the game on the Continent, including the different partnerships the AFC has with international stakeholders.

The Hungarian Film Fiesta takes place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and it showcases Hungary’s glorious football history. The film festival has been timed to precede the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
