AFC extends condolences on passing of Kyrgyz Premier League football player

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has offered their condolences to the family and teammates of Kyrgyz Republic’s Ilych Imanbekov, who tragically died in a road accident.

The 22-year-old Imanbekov was returning home from a fixture in Osh with his Academy-Leader teammates when their mini-bus got involved in an accident.

The AFC wishes all those affected a swift recovery and the thoughts and prayers of the AFC and the rest of the Asian football family are with Imanbekov's close relatives.
