General Secretaries Induction Programme concludes
Kuala Lumpur: 15 General Secretaries from across Asia convened for the AFC Member Associations’ General Secretaries Induction Programme at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which concluded on Wednesday.
The yearly programme was specifically designed for General Secretaries who were appointed after the last Induction Programme that was held in Kuala Lumpur in April 2017.
The purpose of the two-day induction was to ensure that all Member Associations are given the opportunity to benefit from the resources, expertise and development programmes established by AFC and FIFA, and further strengthen engagement.
On the opening day, AFC General Secretary Dato’ Windsor John first took to the stage to welcome the General Secretaries, before presenting on the AFC Vision and Mission.
Throughout the two-day programme , the General Secretaries were briefed on the AFC structure and departmental offerings by the various AFC departments, such as the AFC MA & International Relations, MA Development, Legal, Technical, Referees, Communications and Competitions Departments.
FIFA and Sportradar also presented before the General Secretaries participated in a friendly football match to end the successful event.
