Hwang Hee-chan moves to Hamburger SV on loan
Hamburg: Germany's Hamburger SV have announced signing Korea Republic international Hwang Hee-chan on a one-year loan deal from FC Redbull Salzburg.
The 22-year-old, who has been playing for the Austrian champions since January 2016, has joined the Rothosen as a replacement for Jairo Samperio, who is injured.
In the past two and a half years, the 1.77-metre-tall Hwang completed played 86 games for Salzburg, scoring 29 goals and making seven assists.
In the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, Hwang played in all three games for the Taeguk Warriors.

In January 2015, Hwang moved from Pohang Steelers to FC Liefering in Austria. After just one year with the club, he then transferred to Salzburg, where he spent three seasons in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Hwang also gained experience playing in the UEFA Champions League Qualifiers and in the Europa League.
Hwang is playing for Korea Republic in the ongoing 2018 Asian Games Indonesia, where they will be playing Japan in the final later on Saturday.
