Budapest: Australia boss Bert van Marwijk took encouragement from his side's reaction to an honest half-time assessment that ultimately led to a second successive victory.
Daniel Arzani netted his maiden international goal before Tamas Kalas put through his own net in stoppage time to give Australia a 2-1 friendly win over Hungary in Budapest on Saturday.
The second-half strikes came either side of an unfortunate Trent Sainsbury own goal and ensured van Marwijk's men head to the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia with two wins in as many warm-up outings, having dispatched the Czech Republic 4-0 last week.

Budapest: Youngster Daniel Arzani grabbed his first senior international goal as Australia earned a 2-1 win over Hungary in Budapest in their final 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia friendly on Saturday.
With the first test in Group C against France in Kazan now less than a week away, Australia looked to be heading for a draw until Arzani’s strike, before the two sides exchanged late own goals.
Arzani’s (pictured below) introduction and impact will please coach Bert van Marwijk and Aussie fans, with the Melbourne City attacker coming off the bench in the 73rd minute and scoring inside two minutes when he unleashed a shot from outside the box which dipped in front of goalkeeper Denes Dibusz.
It then looked as if the game was headed for a draw when central defender Trent Sainsbury was involved in an unfortunate late mix up with goalkeeper Brad Jones to score an 88th minute own goal.

Kuala Lumpur: Just under 52 years ago, DPR Korea made World Cup history by becoming the first Asian nation to reach the quarter-finals. the-AFC.com rewinds to that historic achievement.
Eleven years after the foundation of AFC, DPR Korea were pitted against Australia, South Africa and Korea Republic in the first round of qualifying for the 1966 FIFA World Cup in England. South Africa was then banned by FIFA due to apartheid, and Korea Republic withdrew, leaving DPR Korea and Australia to compete for the World Cup ticket.
