Futsal development underlined at AFC Club Licensing Task Force meeting 

Kuala Lumpur: Club licensing in Asia continued to gain momentum as the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Club Licensing Task Force approved the AFC Futsal Club Licensing Criteria at its second meeting held virtually on Tuesday.

In his opening address, AFC Club Licensing Task Force Chairperson Hamad Mohamed Aljneibi highlighted the significant progress of club licensing despite the challenges caused by the global pandemic and emphasised its importance in developing all aspects of the game across the Continent.

Tehran: Islamic Republic of Iran goalkeeper Payam Niazmand inked a deal with Portuguese side Portimonense SC on Monday.

Bangkok: BG Pathum United head coach Aurelio Vidmar hailed his side for putting up a good fight against AFC Champions League titleholders Ulsan Hyundai FC on Sunday as the Australian immediately cast his eyes on the Thai side's upcoming Round of 16 tie.
