Viet Tri: Three goals in six second half minutes ensured DPR Korea sealed a 4-0 win over Palestine on Sunday as O Thae Song’s side finished top of Group C of the AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2027™ Qualifiers with a perfect record while the Islamic Republic of Iran took second after handing Vietnam a 3-1 defeat.

Goals from Kim Yu Jin, An Jin Sok and Pak Kwang Song in the 50th, 54th and 56th minutes put their team in control with Ko Myong Ryong completing the scoring in the final minute as DPR Korea secured their third win in a row.

DPR Korea finished with a maximum nine points while the Iranians slotted into second three points behind. Palestine took third with Vietnam rooted to the bottom without a point.

Qualifiers - Group C: DPR Korea 2-1 IR Iran; Palestine 2-1 Vietnam

Viet Tri:  Stoppage time goals from Kang Wi Song and Kang Myong Bom saw DPR Korea claim a 2-1 win over the Islamic Republic of Iran in Viet Tri on Thursday to move into pole position in Group C of the AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2027™ qualifiers as Palestine won 2-1 against Vietnam.

Kang Wi Song’s 92nd minute header had cancelled out Mohammadmahdi Jannianavaei’s 47th minute opener for the Iranians before Kang Myong Bom hit the 94th minute winner for O Thae Song’s side.

The victory is DPR Korea’s second in a row in Group C and moves them onto six points, three ahead of the Iranians and Palestine with Vietnam sitting on the bottom of the table without a point.

PS - Group D: College of Asian Scholars (THA) 1-4 4.25 SC (PRK)

Pathum Thani: 4.25 SC of DPR Korea stayed perfect after breezing 4-1 past Thailand’s College of Asian Scholars to reach the AFC Women’s Champions League 2026/27™ Group Stage on Sunday.

The victory saw 4.25 finish their Preliminary Stage Group D campaign with maximum points and they will now set their sights on challenging for the title.
