Suzhou: India advanced to the quarter-finals with a 4-0 win against Lebanon in Group B of the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup China 2026™ at the Suzhou Taihu Football Sports Centre Pitch 8 on Friday.

The win meant India finished behind Japan and Australia but sealed progression as one of the two best third-placed teams with China PR their quarter-final opponents on Monday.

Suzhou: Japan and Australia will battle for top spot when they meet in their final AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup China 2026™ Group B tie on Friday.

Four-time winners Japan underlined their pedigree by sealing a place in the knockout stage for the 10th consecutive time while Australia are well placed to advance despite settling for a draw with Lebanon on Matchday Two. 

Victory for Lebanon against India could also see them advancing, with the latter also still in the running despite having suffered two defeats.

Suzhou: Lebanon came from behind to secure a vital 1-1 draw with Australia in their AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup China 2026 Group B tie on Tuesday.

The result revived Lebanon’s hopes after the West Asian side had suffered a 13-0 defeat to Japan in their opener.  Australia, meanwhile, moved up to four points - having kicked off their campaign with a 2-0 win against India.

Q-final: Muras United cruise past Al Ansar

Bishkek: FC Muras United from Kyrgyz Republic moved into the semi-finals of the AFC Challenge League 2025/26™ on Sunday as a 3-0 win over Al Ansar from Lebanon in Bishkek set up a last four meeting with Kuwait SC.

Two goals in four minutes at the end of the first half from Denis Yaskovich and Alimardon Shukrov set Edmar de Lacerda’s side on their way to a convincing win with Andriy Batsula netting the third with 16 minutes remaining.

Muras United will take on Kuwait on Wednesday with the winners of that clash meeting Cambodia’s Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC of Cambodia for the title.
