Yemen complete Saudi Arabia 2027 cast

Doha: Nasser Al Gahwashi struck both goals as Yemen completed the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ cast after defeating Lebanon 2-0 in their Qualifiers Final Round Group B match on Thursday.

Yemen, who topped the group with 14 points and will be making a return to the continental stage after missing out on the 2023 edition, will square off against Korea Republic, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam in Group E of the Finals.

Kuala Lumpur: The AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2027™ Qualifiers are set to be a scintillating affair following the Official Draw at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday.

To be staged between August 25 and September 6, 2026 in a centralised league system, these Qualifiers will feature the implementation of a new format as part of key reforms to the AFC’s youth competitions that were ratified earlier this year.

Designed to ensure more meaningful matches and opportunities for teams to compete against opponents of similar technical competency, a two-phase system featuring a promotion and relegation mechanism has been introduced.

Suzhou: India advanced to the quarter-finals with a 4-0 win against Lebanon in Group B of the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup China 2026™ at the Suzhou Taihu Football Sports Centre Pitch 8 on Friday.

Suzhou: Lebanon came from behind to secure a vital 1-1 draw with Australia in their AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup China 2026 Group B tie on Tuesday.

The result revived Lebanon’s hopes after the West Asian side had suffered a 13-0 defeat to Japan in their opener.  Australia, meanwhile, moved up to four points - having kicked off their campaign with a 2-0 win against India.
