Arkadag: FC Arkadag moved a step closer to the knockout rounds of the AFC Champions League Two 2026/27™ as Ahmet Atayew’s 77th minute goal secured a 1-0 win over Golgohar Sirjan from the Islamic Republic of Iran in Group B on Wednesday.

Atayew’s clinical finish earned his side a second win in Group B to move onto seven points from four matches while Golgohar remain bottom of the standings with two points with two games remaining.

Hisor: Golgohar Sirjan held Turkmenistan’s FC Arkadag to a 0-0 draw in their AFC Champions League Two 2026/27™ Group B clash on Wednesday as the teams shared the points at Hisor Central Stadium.

Neither side was able to find a way through during a tight tussle in Tajikistan with substitute Majid Aliyari going closest to claiming the win for the side from the Islamic Republic of Iran with only two minutes remaining.

The result sees Arkadag move onto four points from their three matches in Group B while Golgohar have doubled their tally to two as the group stage reaches the halfway stage.

Thimphu: Turkmenistan’s Ahal FC claimed their first win with a 2-1 defeat of Group A leaders Al Ansar FC in their AFC Challenge League 2026/27™ encounter on Friday to leave the race for the top spot wide open. 

Lebanon’s Al Ansar, who won both their previous matches, will have to wait for the outcome of the Al Ittihad Ahli of Aleppo SC-Paro FC tie later on Friday to find out if they qualify for the quarter-finals. 

The win for Ahal, however, was not enough as they exited the competition with four points.
