Thailand 2026 Draw finalised

Bangkok: The 12 contenders aiming to lift the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup™ Thailand 2026 crown learnt their Group Stage opponents following the Official Draw in Bangkok on Monday.

The teams were divided into three groups for the tournament which will take place between April 1 and 18, 2026.

Beijing: Head coach Ramiro Amaralle sung the praises of his Beijing FC side after they secured a comprehensive 3-0 win against Tai Po FC in their AFC Champions League Two™ 2025/26 Group E tie on Thursday.

It was a result that revived their Round of 16 chances with the China PR side pulling level on five points with Vietnam’s Cong An Ha Noi FC with two rounds remaining.

Beijing: Beijing FC revived their AFC Champions League Two™ 2025/26 hopes with a 3-0 defeat of Tai Po FC in a Group E tie on Thursday.

The Chinese Super League side’s their first saw them move up to five points, level with Vietnam’s Cong An Ha Noi FC and two adrift of pacesetters Macarthur FC of Australia. Tai Po remained on four points.

Iskandar Puteri: Head coach Xisco Munoz praised the adaptability of his Johor Darul Ta’zim FC players after they followed the plan perfectly in the 3-1 win against Shanghai Shenhua FC in the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26 on Wednesday.

The Spaniard tactician tweaked his tactics to combat Shenhua’s strengths and was impressed with what the players showed as JDT climbed up to second in the East Zone standings, two points adrift of Japan’s Vissel Kobe.

Iskandar Puteri: Jonathan Silva scored twice as Johor Darul Ta’zim FC climbed up to second in the East Zone standings in the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26 on Wednesday with a 3-1 win over Shanghai Shenhua FC at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium.

Silva opened and closed the scoring for the hosts who also saw Oscar Arribas put his name on the scoresheet for the Malaysia Super League champions, who moved onto seven points from their first four matches in the league phase.

That puts Xisco Munoz’s team level on points with Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Ulsan HD, and ahead of the pair on goal-difference. Shenhua, meanwhile, remain on four points at the midway point in the schedule.

Buriram: Buriram United returned to winning ways in the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2025/26 on Tuesday as Mark Jackson’s side handed Chinese Super League champions Shanghai Port a 2-0 defeat at Buriram Stadium to climb up the East Zone standings.

Supachai Chaided gave the Thai League 1 title holders the lead in the 15th minute and Curtis Good made the points safe 20 minutes after the interval as the hosts bounced back from their agonisingly late loss against Melbourne City on Matchday Three.

The result moves Buriram United into fifth place on six points as the league phase reaches the midway point while Shanghai Port’s hopes of claiming a berth in the next phase suffered another blow with Kevin Muscat’s side rooted to the bottom on a solitary point.
