Group L: Saudi Arabia 0-2 Mali

Doha: Saudi Arabia’s FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 campaign came to an end after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Mali in their concluding Group L tie on Tuesday.

Champions in 1989, Saudi Arabia missed out on a Round of 32 spot by the slimmest of margins with Mexico advancing as the last of the eight best third-placed teams on their fair play record after both sides finished on three points and identical goal difference.

While Saudi Arabia missed out, Asia will be represented by DPR Korea, Japan, Korea Republic and Uzbekistan in the knockout stage.

DPR Korea will meet Venezuela, Japan will battle it out with South Africa, Korea Republic will lock horns with England and Uzbekistan will square off against Croatia in the Round of 32.

Doha: Tajikistan concluded their FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 Group I campaign with a 2-0 defeat against Burkina Faso on Tuesday.

A third consecutive loss meant the Central Asian side finished bottom of the group and exited the competition.

Doha: Uzbekistan advanced to the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 knockout stage in style after producing a sparkling second half display to cruise 6-1 past Panama in their concluding Group J tie on Tuesday.

A six-goal haul after a listless first half secured victory for the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia™ 2025 champions who finished second with two wins, one point adrift of Republic of Ireland.

The Central Asian side joined DPR Korea, Japan and Korea Republic as Asia's representatives in the Round of 32.

They will face Croatia while DPR Korea will meet Venezuela, Japan will battle it out with South Africa and Korea Republic will lock horns with England for places in the next round.

The result sees Indonesia finishing third in Group H on three points and they will have to rely on results from Tuesday's matches to see if they can progress as one of the eight best third-placed finishers into the Round of 32.

Doha: DPR Korea fell to a 2-0 defeat against Colombia in their FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 Group G tie on Monday.

Despite the defeat, the East Asian side - who finished with four points - advanced as one of the best third-placed teams.

Germany pipped Colombia to the top spot on goal difference, with both sides accumulating five points.
