Group B: Altyn Asyr (TKM) 0-1 Al Khaldiya SC (BHR)

Ashgabat: Al Khaldiya claimed their first win in Group B of the AFC Champions League Two™ 2024-25 on Wednesday as Oussama Bellatreche’s goal in first half injury time earned the Bahraini side a 1-0 victory over Altyn Asyr in Ashgabat.

Bellatreche netted from close range four minutes into stoppage time to seal Al Khaldiya’s first three-point haul while the result leaves the side from Turkmenistan at the bottom of the standings without a point after the opening two rounds.

Qualifiers - Group B: Uzbekistan 5-0 Bahrain; Cambodia 1-1 Chinese Taipei

New Taipei: Uzbekistan sealed their berth at the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 after a 5-0 win against Bahrain on Sunday saw them topping Group B of the Qualifiers with a perfect record.

Aiming to defend the title won for the first time in 2023, Uzbekistan confirmed a ninth appearance at the Finals.

The other match saw Cambodia and Chinese Taipei playing to a 1-1 stalemate.

Qualifiers - Group B: Bahrain 4-0 Nepal; Chinese Taipei 1-3 Uzbekistan

New Taipei: Uzbekistan moved within a point of confirming their ticket to the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 Finals after a comprehensive 3-1 win against Chinese Taipei on Friday. 

The win took the Central Asian side to nine points and avoiding defeat against Bahrain - who revived their hopes with a 4-0 win against Nepal in the earlier tie on Friday - will confirm Uzbekistan as the group winners.

New Taipei: Uzbekistan made it two wins out of two after they beat Nepal 6-0 in their AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 Qualifiers Group B match on Wednesday.

Qualifiers - Group B: Nepal 1-4 Cambodia; Chinese Taipei 0-1 Bahrain

New Taipei: Cambodia secured a winning start to their AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2025 Qualifiers campaign after defeating Nepal 4-1 in a Group B tie at the Fu Jen University ground on Saturday.

Bahrain, meanwhile, were made to work hard by hosts Chinese Taipei before securing a 1-0 win.

Arruabarrena confident of Al Taawoun’s chances

Riffa: Al Taawoun head coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena believes his side are well equipped to challenge for the AFC Champions League Two 2024/25 title after opening their Group B campaign with a 3-2 win against Al Khaldiya on Wednesday. 

Despite the scoreline suggesting otherwise, Saudi Arabia’s Al Taawoun were in full control of the tie at the Bahrain National Stadium.
