Doha: Al Hilal SFC took over at the top of the Saudi Pro League with a 2-0 defeat of Damac on Sunday.

The win moved Al Hilal to 32 points, one ahead of Al Nassr Club whose difficult week saw them picking up just one point from two matches.

Riyadh: Al Nassr Club signalled their title ambition cruising 5-1 past Al Zawraa SC in their AFC Champions League Two 2025/26™ Group D tie at the King Saud University Stadium on Wednesday.

The win meant a perfect group stage campaign for the Saudi Pro League side, with Kingsley Coman starring with a brace in the defeat of Al Zawraa who, however, advanced to the knockout stage ahead of FC Istiklol on goal difference.

Al Rayyan: Iraq fell to a 2-0 defeat against Algeria in their final FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 Group D tie at the Khalifa International Stadium on Tuesday.

The result left Iraq finishing second in the standings with six points to set up a quarter-final against Group C winners Jordan, while Algeria’s top placing earned them a clash with the United Arab Emirates.
