Dubai: Al Ain FC moved five points clear at the top of the UAE Pro League with victory against Al Ittihad Kalba.

Doha: United Arab Emirates booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 after a 3-1 win against Kuwait at Stadium 974 on Tuesday.

The win saw Cosmin Olaroiu’s side finish second behind Jordan in Group C will next take on the Group D winners in their last eight tie on Friday. Kuwait finished bottom of the group with one point.

Doha: Kuwait held Egypt to a 1-1 stalemate in their  FIFA Arab Cup 2025 Group A tie at the Lusail Stadium on Tuesday.

After a listless opening half, Fahed Al Hajri gave Kuwait the lead with a towering header, only to be undone by goalkeeper Suod Alhoushan’s red card in the 83rd minute, with Mohamed Afsha equalising for Egypt from the spot.

Kuwait will face Jordan on Saturday, while Egypt take on UAE.

Qualifiers - Group F: Mongolia 2-6 Turkmenistan; Thailand 3-0 Kuwait

Chonburi: Thailand secured the Qualifiers Group F top spot after beating Kuwait 3-0 to seal their place at the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™ on Sunday.

Thailand, Turkmenistan and Kuwait all finished on nine points but the Southeast Asian side advanced to the Finals on superior head-to-head goal difference.
