AFC President pledges continued support to Syrian FA

Vancouver: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President, Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa held a productive meeting with Syrian Football Association (SFA) President Feras Teet on Wednesday, where the pair discussed the strategic road map intended to strengthen the development of football in the nation.

Held a day after the 36th AFC Congress 2026 and on the eve of the 76th FIFA Congress in Canada, Shaikh Salman congratulated SFA President Feras Teet on his election to the high-level position in November last year and wished him every success in the new role.
