Doha: Cambodia cruised into the next round of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 Joint Qualification after defeating Pakistan 2-1 in the second leg on Tuesday, advancing 4-1 on aggregate.
Having won the first leg 2-0 last Thursday, Cambodia started with a massive advantage, but the Pakistanis, cheered on loudly by some 250 odd spectators, gave them a serious scare before losing steam midway through the second half and crashing to a 2-1 defeat in the hot and humid Qatari capital.
