Down 3-0 against Korea Republic in the third-place playoff, Alexander Geynrikh sparked a fightback by netting a stoppage time penalty in the first half. Geynrikh’s second goal, however, was a stunner as he weaved his way into the penalty box before finishing past Sung Ryong-jung. Korea Republic, however, held on for a 3-2 win.
