Jordan's morale boosted after Nepal win
Amman: Jordan head coach Vital Borkelmans believes that his side gathered motivation following their 3-0 win against Nepal in an Asian Qualifiers Group B for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023.
After a scoreless first half, Jordan took the lead from the spot through Feras Shelbaieh before Ahmad Ersan and Baha'a Faisal scored in the last 12 minutes as Jordan returned to winning ways after their goalless draw with Kuwait last week.

The victory was a big boost for Borkelmans and his players before their crucial match against Australia next month.
“The result is great and we should always look for positives,” said Belgian Borkelmans.
“I’m satisfied with the performance of the players and happy that we got a good result.
“The win against Nepal was very important for us because it will give us a morale boost before the next matches, especially that it came following the draw with Kuwait,” he added.
The 56-year-old coach said side should not be underestimated against Australia in a month’s time.
“We played with a new way against Nepal and this helped us to get the victory,” he said. “We are looking forward to the match against Australia now and we believe in our capabilities to get a good result and the three points.”
Nepal head coach Johan Kalin felt his side could have had a better result.
“The result means that we are improving and we forced our opponents to play with a certain way,” said the Swede.
“We played with a good defensive performance and things would have been different if it wasn’t for the first goal.
Nepal are next in action on November 19, when they play Kuwait in Kathmandu.
