Al Dawsari also assisted the equaliser for teammate Andre Carrillo, before he headed home Carrillo's cross to put Al Hilal into the lead on the night.
As well as his assist and goal, which came from three shots on target, Al Dawsari also created three chances for his teammates as he earned an 8.8 rating.
Another Asian star, Akram Afif (below), came in second in this week’s rankings after the Al Sadd forward scored in the Qatari side's 3-1 win over Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia.
Not only was the 2019 AFC Asian Cup winner on the scoresheet, but he also created a weekly high five chances for teammates and made 54 passes for his 8.5 rating.
Up against Afif and his teammates in the semi-final in a fortnights' time will be Al Hilal and Andre Carrillo (below), who claimed third spot after the Peruvian's impressive showing against Al Ittihad was capped with a goal and an assist.
